Acumen Development Partners is proud to announce the commencement of Noble Development Group's renovation of the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel. This Marriott property is located at 1617 SE 17th Street near the cruise port area and Harbor Beach. The $3 million project involves the complete renovation of 12,800 sf of meeting space, 3,000 sf of food and beverage areas, and 9,000 sf of common areas.
Originally built in 2001, this is the first major renovation of the public areas in the 12 story, 270 key property. The new interior design created by TVS Architecture of Florida, evokes the upscale and chic design aesthetic of the Renaissance brand. The lobby design features organic decorative elements and modern furnishings against a backdrop of sharply contrasted light and dark finishes. The revamped full service restaurant Bistro 17 will invite guests with its' lattice style screens, cool ocean blue chairs and neutral colored finishes. The project is scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2016.
The Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel is owned by Noble Investment Group of Atlanta, GA and is managed by Interstate Hotels and Resorts.
