Acumen Development Partners is proud to announce the start of construction for a Dave & Buster's in the Central Business District of New Orleans. The $40 million development will be located at the corner of Poydras and Loyola streets and walking distance from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Smoothie King Center and French Quarter.
The current site has a ground level parking garage which will be demolished to make way for the new construction six floor building. It will accommodate 30,000 sf of street-level retail, a four-story parking garage and a 40,000 sf Dave & Buster's on the sixth floor. Dave & Buster's offers a lively venue where customers can enjoy food and drinks all while playing arcade games and watching games on big-screen TVs.
The property will be connected to the newly opened Hyatt House Hotel at the 1250 Poydras Building as well as the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, for which Acumen provided re-development services in 2012.
This will be the first Dave & Buster's in the city of New Orleans and is slated to open in early 2017
